I am always on the lookout for new, interesting books for use in the classroom. This is one of my favorites. It is a quick read that I can always reference whenever I am stuck on a topic.
The book is written in both English and Russian. If you are interested in learning more about the history of the Russian Empire, you could check out Vladimir Nabokov’s “The Man Who Sold Himself,” which covers the period when the Russian Empire was the world’s dominant superpower and Russia was, at the time, the world’s second most powerful country. Nabokov’s book is available in paperback and ebook versions, and you can find it here.
This is the first book in the series of The Three Levels of Self-Awareness (TOSA) that I’ve read. TOSA takes place during the first year of the Russian Empire and is a great resource for understanding the Russian language. It’s very difficult to master Russian, but it’s a great resource for understanding how to read Russian as it relates to the English language.

It is the first time I have ever used this book.
I have only read the first chapter or two, but the rest is excellent. All the characters are very likable, but the story is very compelling. This is a very entertaining book.
